This is a stunning Rainbow Moonstone and Sterling Silver Ring, handmade in my workshop in Dorset on the South Coast of England.

A stunning oval cabochon Rainbow Moonstone set on a solid handcrafted 925 sterling silver band. This beautiful gemstone really shows off Rainbow Moonstone iridescence with incredible flashes of blue, gold, green, orange and purple at every angle. A truly unique handmade ring.
Moonstone is the birthstone for June.
The stone measures approximately 19 x 13mm and is bezel set in sterling silver.
The ring is a size N 1/2.
The ring shank is 3.3mm wide x 1.3mm thick and has a rectangular profile and is therefore a substantial, fairly chunky ring.

Rainbow Moonstones are a type of gemstone composed of Feldspar minerals, which are known for their adularescence - a word that describes the effect of the light diffraction between layers of the stone!
