Sterling & Fine Silver Forget Me Not Flower Earrings
These delicate and pretty Forget Me Not Flower Earrings have been handmade using Fine Silver, also known as Pure Silver.
Fine Silver is created from Precious Metal Clay.
The silver content of Fine Silver is 99.9%, compared to 92.5% in sterling silver.
While the precious metal clay was still soft, I hand-stamp the reverse of the pendant with “999” to represent the 99.9% silver content.
This pretty flower charms hang from a sterling silver hoops measuring 18mm.

ABOUT SILVER CLAY:
Fine / pure silver is a clay-like material made of fine silver powder which has been reclaimed and recycled from silver waste, water-soluble organic binders are added producing a precious metal clay.
The clay is then rolled and shaped using texture mats, moulds, cutters or organic items, shells, leaves and flowers, which are impressed into the clay before being fired in either a kiln or hand fired with a blow torch.
The binders vaporise, the powder sinters, and the soft clay turns into real solid 999 silver: producing a ready to wear environmentally friendly and sustainable piece of jewellery.
